This agave harvardiana cluster somehow grows out of a cracks in a huge boulder near Boot Canyon campsite on the eastern side of the Chisos Plateau.

The view from the summit of Emory Peak is a breathtaking 360 perspective of the horizon. Emory Peak is the third highest point in Texas.

Found mainly on the Eastern slopes of the Chisos Plateau. This beautiful red and white barked tree grows only at the higher elevations of the plateau.
